What are you doing to acheive your dreams

What are you looking for in your life? More peace, prosperity, someone to share your life with? What are you hungry for? I don’t know about you, but one of the things I’ve learned on this journey of becoming more of who I am – is that every person deep down inside – really just wants to be happy, to be with their families, have their friends around them – have successful meaningful relationships – be healthy and live the life they are meant to live. I don’t care what country you go to on this great big beautiful blue marble in space that we live upon – most people are good. You can make the argument by saying “look – look at the terrorists or the criminals in the world” – but did you know that those people actually only represent a small percentage of the rest of the world’s population? Think about it. There are 6.5 billion people on this planet. And of those 6.5 billion people, how many of them are really, really, really bad people? The point is this – there is far more goodness going on in the world right this minute than badness! All is well. All is really well. There is a flow of well being that comes to each and every one of us – we just need to learn to tap into it – plug in so-to-speak. Did you know that you have immediate access to that well-being regardless of what is occurring in your external world at any given moment? That well-being is called Source, God, Universe, Allah, Shiva, or whatever name you choose to give it but Source is available to each and every one of us at any moment regardless of the constraints any religious dogma tries to put on it. This is the true secret of living: understanding who you are and where you came from. Religious dogmatists would try to tell you that you must turn around three times and tap your heels together or say 100 Hail Mary’s or get baptized in water or deny yourself those things you want to attain true spirituality! Hogwash! You are a divine child of the Universe with the Source of Creation inside of you! Inside – not outside! Christ once said to his followers (loosely translated) “there will come a time when people will not worship in temples made by hands.” You are the temple not made by hands that He speaks of. In you is the Holy of Holies – a special place where you can connect and meet the Source of all Creation. Don’t believe me? Haven’t you felt those ecstatic moments of joy that seemingly have no reason for existing? You’re tapping into Source. What about the peace that passes all understanding that has come to you in the dead of night or in that moment you most desperately needed it? When you make a conscious decision to develop a relationship with Source – the most intimate on the face of this planet you will ever experience – your life can become one of meaning and purpose. Once you make that connection – everything is at your fingertips in a moment. Our true journey here is enjoying this temple not made by hands. To live our lives to the fullest potential of who we really are – divine children of the universe – and express that divinity in our own individual ways. Just like there are no two leaves, no two grains of sand, and no two snowflakes alike, there is nothing on this planet that is like anything else in its uniqueness. You are the gift Source has given you. So what are you doing with this gift of life right now? Are you complaining? Or are you thankful for the simple fact that you are breathing? The gift of life on this planet is that we can interact with this most beautiful and delicious world and everything in it through our thoughts, our feelings and emotions, our bodies and through all of our senses. You are here to live your life and enjoy it – not constrain it – not bind it all up in a set of rules and regulations that keep you from experiencing life! Take your faith out of the temples made with hands and realize that it isn’t outside of you – it’s inside – right in the core of your being. That faith is what powers you – keeps you breathing – keep it where it belongs – in the inner temple squarely in your heart where its true home is. And realize that faith is the substance of things hoped for the EVIDENCE of things not yet seen. You are a child of the Most High – a divine child of the Universe. Claim your birthright today! Motivation with the help of hypnosis

Hypnosis is a powerful tool in self improvement and can help you change many factors of your life and personality that you dislike. Along with other forms of therapy and life coaching, hypnosis can be very useful as a motivational technique. The methods of hypnosis that help you set, visualize and obtain goals are great if you are striving for success but having difficulties getting started. When beginning hypnosis, it is most important to find someone you are comfortable with and who is a competent professional. Hypnotherapists are powerful people that have the ability to work wonders in the human mind, as long as you trust them. You may find it helpful to find recommendation from peers or professional associations. If that is not a possibility, then research the different types of hypnotherapy, decide which method sounds best for your needs and find a professional that can assist you with that. Once you have found someone that you trust and that understands your reasons for hypnotherapy, you can get started on your road to a more motivated and successful lifestyle. It will be easier to address your motivation issues with your hypnotherapist if you put some thought into it before the session. Be ready to tell him or her what you aspire to be or do and what road blocks you currently run into. However, keep an open mind. You may be surprised to find out that what you thought was holding you back from your successes was not it at all, and that your lack of motivation stems from somewhere completely different. Many people find difficulty in self-motivating because the goal they have set seems so unattainable. Hypnotherapy can help with this through visualization techniques. Under hypnosis, you may be instructed to visualize yourself in the situation you are trying to achieve. Because Hypnosis deals with the subconscious mind, picturing these things under Hypnosis will implant the vision deep inside your mind and make it much more realistic to you. The more realistic it feels, the more you will believe you could achieve it, and the more motivated you will be. Hypnotherapy can strengthen the will of the mind and teach it to bypass the things that have kept you from the success you have sought your whole life. By instilling motivating thoughts and pictures into the mind, it works from the inside out to help you in your accomplishments. However, Hypnosis is not a miracle cure and cannot be expected to work on its own. As with any other form of physical or psychological therapy, it should be combined with other methods for best results. Motivation begins with positive thinking and positive actions. Do not think that you are the only person in the world that is not self motivated and that is lazy at times. It is human nature to be this way, and also human nature to want to do something about it. Hypnosis in the hands of a skilled professional can open the mind and ready the spirit for the successes that will come flying your way once you’ve found your motivation.

Humorous thought for the day a micro break in our fast paced culture

You have the best of intentions. You know you've been too intense at work. And you're really disliking your job more and more each day. You promise yourself to keep a better focus on what's really important in life. But so far you haven't kept your promise to yourself. Or maybe it's the upkeep of the house. You try to keep a clean living environment. But after working and spending time with friends, there's no energy left to pick up the clutter and get rid of the dirt. After all, the clutter and dirt will just come back. So you're left with a feeling of discouragement and frustration. Or it's the work you do for the kids. Boy, do they take a lot of work. Keeping the baby fed, clean, and happy takes all your time. And then there are the older kids. Soccer practice. Piano lessons. Church youth group. There's just no time to do it all. You're racing through life like little more than a robot. How can you reclaim your humanity? Life gets to all of us from time to time. It seems to be the price we pay for an increasingly complex world, a world where the Internet has opened up so many choices to us, that we can feel overwhelmed with making decisions. Fortunately, despite any complexity the Internet has added to our lives, it also has made it easier to insert some little pauses into the day to make life a little more bearable. I call these little pauses micro-breaks. And they can be a great way to step off the fast-track for just a moment to relax a bit and refocus on the things that are important. Micro-breaks come in all shapes and sizes. One type of micro-break that many people find helpful is a thought for the day -- a profound, noteworthy, or entertaining saying. The Internet has all kinds of sources for a thought for the day. Just do a search on any of the major search engines, and you'll find how many possibilities there are to choose from. What kind of thought for the day works best? That depends on your personality. If you tend to get caught up in the details of life, then you might do best with sayings that focus on more profound statements of life and existence. If you are inspired by quotes that have stood the test of time, sites that focus on the sayings of famous people might provide the most benefit to you. If you find yourself taking life too seriously too often, sayings that can make you smile or chuckle would suit your style well. The most important thing is to find a source of micro-breaks that you find inspiring or relaxing. These will give you the most energizing pauses in your day. Of course, there is no reason you can't make use of more than one type micro-break. So, fire up your browser, visit your favorite search engine, and find yourself some places where you can get your thought for the day. Then, either sign up to receive your daily thought in your email, or make a habit of visiting the places you like best for a quick micro-break. Soon you'll be headed in the right direction to maintain a balanced life.

Spiritual longing and the path of forgiveness

God’s heart exists within your own heart, and as you travel along the pathways of spiritual life, your own divine nature begins to emerge and awaken. As your spiritual essence becomes more manifest, your heart begins to awaken and to seek the way Home. A heart that longs for love, and that longs to find the way home to God, opens a pathway of light from the human, embodied self to the soul that exists eternally in the realms of spirit. This important connection creates a funnel that can transmit knowledge, love, light and comfort from the realms of spirit to your embodied self. Truly it can be said that longing is the path Home to God, for it activates all the forces of heaven and Earth to infuse you and your daily life with God’s light and love. Spiritual longing not only activates spiritual growth and transformation, but it also activates the healing of any and all inner blockages to love that may exist within your being. Pain, resentment, anger and blame that are directed towards others eventually sap the life force from our own inner light, and so at some point on the spiritual journey, we are led to the path of forgiveness. Forgiveness is a state of being that emerges from love. Forgiveness cannot be forced, especially if you have been abused, neglected, or treated cruelly, or have suffered trauma at the hands of others. In this kind of situation, healing needs to progress in stages, first by allowing yourself to feel all the emotions that resulted from the trauma. This first stage of forgiveness involves not an immersion in the feelings, but an allowing of them to emerge, within a space of safety. The emotions need to be held in the container of God’s love. For many, this is best done with the support of others who can hold a healing space by offering you a loving and steady presence. This stage can last for a while if the traumas run deep, or can be passed through more quickly if there is sufficient light and love present to help in the transformation process. After this phase there is a kind of lull, and a sense of emptiness, as the emotions that were held inside for so long are no longer existing within you. Like so many phases of spiritual life, one must first be emptied out before being filled with the new. After this phase has passed, a sense of new life and hope begins to emerge naturally from the cleansing effects that happened during the period of emotional release. These emerge as seeds of the new that spring into consciousness or even appear in daily life as harbingers of a new day to come. During this time, opportunities are given for you to review the past with fresh eyes. You may come to a deeper understanding of the meaning of the painful situations that you experienced. At this point, the opportunities for forgiveness begin to emerge. It is important to understand that these cannot be forced or manufactured. Forgiveness can only come from a heart that is open and that has released the burden of anger and resentment fully. What this means is not that you will never feel anger or resentment again, but that you are no longer holding onto the anger. Instead, you are seeking to return to love, harmony and wholeness. You want to be released from the past so you can be free to live, love, and move forward into the new. There are some things that we experience that are so terrible that it does not seem possible to forgive or heal from them. In this kind of situation, extra care is needed to not place judgments upon yourself. If you have experienced a severe trauma, you may not be able to experience forgiveness quite yet. You may need more time to go through the emotional healing process, and to pick up the pieces of your life, and to go deeper with your relationship with God. To have the intention to forgive is the first step towards a complete freedom and release from the trauma. In some cases it may take time to arrive at this point. Once you are ready to be willing to forgive, your healing process has already begun. Spiritual longing is the desire of the heart to be free, to be at one with the divine nature of our own being. Spiritual longing activates a profound process of transformation and healing that is capable to freeing us from even the deepest of traumas. Forgiveness, when it comes, is a blessing of love that releases us from the chains of the past and opens a new doorway to healing. Forgiveness is one of God’s greatest gifts, and is greatly needed in today's world. Your own healing process not only benefits you, but all those you come in contact with. As a freer and more loving being, you become more capable of being a presence of love and light for others during these very challenging times we live in. In this way, you contribute to the healing of the world, one heart at a time.
